URGE OVERKILL
About the band
Chicago alt-rock legends signed to Geffen Records, who opened for Nirvana on the Nevermind tour and Pearl Jam on the Vs. tour. Their cover of "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" hit #59 on the Billboard Hot 100 after landing in Pulp Fiction (1994). Adam performed live with the band.
In My Words
I grew up listening to UO as a teenager, and fast forward into Chicago with The Last Vegas, they picked up my brother on drums and put TLV on tour with them. A few years later Ed asked me to play bass, and it was just like... you couldn't make this stuff up. True rockstars, I had the honor of jamming with UO from 2014 starting in Australia, all the way up to their last live performance in ~2020 or so. Chicago legends.
